SAFFARA CHARTER - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Cancellation of a flight on its material day incurs a 100% penalty charge.
- Confirmation can only be done by the Full payment of the Flight.
- Cost of diversion due to adverse weather or war risks and hazards shall be billed directly to the client.
- Saffara must first approve all changes in itinerary by the passenger(s) and any additional costs incurred due to the changes shall be billed directly to the client.
- Passenger luggage is limited to 15kgs per passenger in soft bags.
- To facilitate international clearances, payment must be made no later than 7 working days prior to departure into our bank account as per our bank.
- War Risk Insurance is also excluded and if required will be billed in addition.
- We are not authorised for the carriage of Dangerous Goods. Kindly contact us for a copy of the Dangerous Goods Regulations.
- Costs for unplanned delays over 2 hours, night or weekend/public holiday airport surcharges, overnights or extension of normal air field operating hours and costs of aircraft de-icing are also not included and will be billed in addition.
- We do not accept any responsibility for consequential damages that may be suffered by the client due to breakdown, diversion (including non-availability of fuel) or other factors beyond its control. We will make every effort possible to minimize such cost being incurred.
- As a safety regulatory requirement, all flights are conducted according to the Crew Flight and Duty Time Regulations as stipulated in Kenyan Civil Aviation Authority the Charter’s Operations Manual. Changes to the itinerary that adversely affect these duty periods may not be accommodated and/or may result in subsequent limitations or restrictions to the proposed flight.
- To reduce on Crew duty time for day stop flights, Crew must be provided with bed rest at a comfortable lodging with single day rooms if waiting period is over 4 hours.
- Payments by credit card will incur a surcharge of 10%.
